Why are certain people in Brussels acting as if Brexit didn’t happen?
What happens if these “suggestions” are taken seriously and acted upon? Will that not cast an aura of legitimacy on the idea of EU types issuing further “recommendations” to the United Kingdom, even though the Brexit vote suggests that none of them have any more business doing so than I have business issuing “recommendations” to Vladimir Putin on the proper governance of Russia?
This article is intriguing. Not only does it eloquently suggest that the EU is designed to solve a 100 year old problem, but wonders if its leaders may pursue their solution to that problem with the same dogged determination which led to World War I.
