Do you believe schools ought to be safer?

You’re now a racist if you say schools need to be safer.

Under pressure from Obama educrats, public school districts are no longer suspending even violent students; but now, under pressure from Black Lives Matter, they are suspending teachers who complain about not suspending bad kids.

Much more at the link.

I suppose as word gets around about this problem, the trend of families looking for creative ways to get their kids out of these schools will only continue to increase, which will in turn motivate the left and their BLM shock troops to counter-push. What will their next target be? Things are bad enough now that it actually takes some effort to imagine what more they could do to mess the situation up, short of creating an effective ban on homeschooling (which is already unfeasible for a whole lot of people, a fact which the radical left is surely happy about).

Then again, even if policy merely stays the same, current conditions in many areas sound extreme enough to push affected school districts into complete non-functionality within a few years.  Teachers can strike or quit, parents can sue, or en masse refuse to send their kids to schools that endanger their children, but none of that will do anything other than exacerbate the problem. So, what happens then? It seems that public schooling under the guidance of the Department of Education is approaching a breaking point.  What happens after it breaks?
